The Guest Wing of Forest Gate Farm is called 'Walnut'. 'Walnut' is self contained, apartment style accommodation that is strictly for couples.
It comprises a master bedroom, a lounge/dining room, a fully equipped kitchen, and a separate modern bathroom. Most areas have dimmer switches for ambience.
Guests enjoy the warmth of the log combustion fire on cold Winter nights, and air-conditioned comfort during Summer. There is a private outdoor dining area, furnished with table and chairs. Guests can also feel free to make use of the dining area in the rear garden under the old plum tree.
The fridge is stocked with breakfast provisions for a full English Breakfast. Typically, this includes milk, orange juice, eggs, bacon, sausages, tomatoes, mushrooms, yogurt, seasonal fruit, muffins, butter, jam, muesli, weetbix, and assorted teas and coffees.
Master Bedroom
The sky-lit master bedroom has a beautiful hand turned wooden queen bed with a quality chiropractic mattress.
Bathroom
The bathroom contains a small rainwater spa bath and separate shower.
Entrance to Walnut
The entrance to Walnut Cottage is by the Old Walnut Tree.
Log Combustion Fire
The log combustion fireplace in the lounge/dining area provides comfort on cold winter nights.
Outdoor picnic area
Enjoy a peaceful breakfast in the garden, surrounded by native plants and birds.
Kitchenette with all facilities
The kitchenette has facilities required to cook breakfast at your leisure - stove top, microwave, fridge and kettle.
Off street car park
Parking is available for guests in the off street car park at the entrance to Forrest Gate Farm.
